    I have used this iron supplement in the past and have taken iron supplements for many years. Iron is so important for women, especially during pregnancy as energy levels drop and iron needs increase to support both mum and baby.     I used this vitamin on a daily basis with my other multivitamin I haven't noticed much difference but there was no adverse effect. When I did my blood test at the beginning my iron was on a good level. However since I stopped it as it ran out and I did the iron test again with my ob a couple of month later my iron level has dropped so I think it must have supported me for a little while.
